Preludes

Based on a poem by T.S. Eliot, this short film was created by Hannah Hardeman and myself while we were MA students at the University of Leeds, back in 2014. Preludes paints a melancholy portrait of the city, with Eliot’s words represented as relevant to urban spaces today, as they were in 1911 when the poem was first published.

The film was screened at the Contested Cities film festival.
