Christmas 2014 I quit smoking.

This was a little photo book I made, primarily for myself and the family, after our first daughter was born and she ended up in hospital fighting for her life. The photographs captured this eerie, frightening, magical and liminal time in our lives.

Recently re-photographing these from the printed book (to post on social media), I really liked the lo-fi and spectral look of the results, so I decided to add them to my portfolio here. Some lost gems definitely resurfaced… Cold Turkey, fully reheated.
